Марсоход (TL08)
Наземный транспорт для марсианской экспедиции (2030ые годы). Предназначен для перевозки двух человек (в скафандрах) и до 250 кг полезных грузов. Использовались GURPS Vehicles (Второе издание) и GURPS Vehicles Expansion 2 (правила для объёма обшивки, плюс инерциальный компас). Курсивом выделены мои примечания.
Subassemblies: Off-road wheels (four wheels).
Привет американским лунным “роверам”. Собственно марсоход выглядит как платформа с четырмя колёсами, на которую водружены два сиденья и место для груза.
Propulsion: Wheeled drivetrain (Bo, all-wheel drive, 30 kW, HP 8).
Communications: Medium range radio (Bo, 100 miles, 0.01 kW, HP 1). Short range tight-beam radio (Bo, 100 miles, HP 1).
Sensors: Two radars (BoF/BoB, 0.5 miles, no targeting, scan 9, HP 1, 0.125 kW each).
Audiovisual: Digital vehicle camera (BoF, HP 1).
Navigation: Inertial compass (Bo, HP 1). Transponder (Bo, HP 1). GPS (Bo, HP 1).
Computers: Hardened small computer (Bo, C2, HP 2). Two terminals (Bo, HP 10 each).
Software: Computer navigation (C2). Database (1.13 GB of maps). Datalink (C1). Routine vehicle operations (Driving) (C2, skill 12).
Control: Computerized.
Crew stations: “Driver” operates maneuver controls and terminal, “Researcher” operates a terminal, both from normal exposed crew stations (Bo, HP).
Occupancy: Short.
Safety: Two crashwebs (Bo, HP each).
Power: 31 kW RTG (Bo, 14 years, HP 18) powers all systems with 0.74 kW of excess power.
Space: 5.1 cf of access space. 22 cf of cargo space. 0.03 of empty space.
Volumes: Body 69 cf, wheels 13.8 cf.
Surface areas: Body 125 sf, wheels 40 sf.
Structure: Medium expensive frame.
Hit points: Body 187 HP, each wheel 30 HP.
Structural options: Improved suspension. Improved brakes. All-wheel steering. Smartwheels.
